Dr. Kenner and Dr. Morrison are both certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and they bring university-quality skills to the practice. They are also fellows of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and the American Medical Association and Dr. Morrison is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Daniel Morrison Jr., M.D., M.S., FACS, is a board-certified ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist in clinical practice for more than 30 years. Dr. Morrison is involved in all aspects of general adult and pediatric otolaryngology, with a special interest in the medical and surgical treatment of hearing loss and dizziness and balance disorders.

Dr. Morrison graduated from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1983. In addition to a medical degree, in 2012 he earned a Master of Science degree in public health from the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth in Hanover, New Hampshire.
Dr. Morrison completed his post-doctoral training at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania, where he completed a residency in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. Following residency, he completed additional training in otology and neurotology in Denver, Colorado. Throughout his career, he has held medical leadership positions, including chairman of otolaryngology at The University of New Mexico and at Dartmouth Medical School. He also has been actively involved in teaching, advising and mentoring medical school students and medical residents, as well as in publishing and lecturing on various topics in ENT patient care.

Dr. Morrison is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is also a member of the American Medical Association.

I believe being a physician is the noblest of professions. Because of our extensive education and training, we are given the privilege and trust of our patients that most people are not allowed to access. All patients want to be seriously listened to, to have their concerns addressed and to be treated with respect. This has always been, and continues to be, the guiding principle for me in rendering excellent patient care.”

George R. Kenner Jr., M.D., specializes in the evaluation and treatment of patients with ear, nose and throat (ENT) disorders and has been a member of the AtlantiCare Physician Group medical staff since April 2016.

He studied human genetics at Saint Joseph  University, received a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Howard University, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He then completed a general surgery residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital, followed by an otolaryngology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Kenner is a member of the National Medical Association, the South Jersey Medical Association, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He also serves as a diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners and a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. In addition, Dr. Kenner served as a captain in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard 108th Combat Support Hospital.

SueEllen Boyer, Au.D.

In doing so, I feel my patients leave the office having a better understanding about their hearing or balance issues than when they arrived.”

SueEllen Boyer, Au.D., brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as a clinical audiologist at AtlantiCare Physician Group.

Dr. Boyer specializes in providing audiology services for children and adults of all ages and developmental levels. She has a particular interest in the area of vestibular (balance) disorders and their diagnostic evaluations. Additionally, she has many years of advanced training and experience with pediatric patients.

In addition, Dr. Boyer’s areas of expertise include the electrophysiological assessment of auditory and vestibular system (ABR and VNG), the management of industrial hearing-conservation programs, and toxicity monitoring of pharmaceutical studies.

For patients receiving rehabilitative care, Dr. Boyer specializes in hearing instrument selection, dispensing, and evaluations of advanced technology instruments; hearing aid repair, modification and  maintenance; and vocational management of hearing-impaired adults.

Dr. Boyer earned a Clinical Doctorate degree in audiology from the Pennsylvania College of Audiology and Optometry and a Master of Arts degree from Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey). In 2016, she was honored with the Healthcare Provider of the Year award from The Arc™, Ocean County Chapter.

 

Nicole Carone, PA-C

Taking time to explain conditions and treatments in a way that patients understand is important in gaining their trust. I believe this also allows them to participate in their care and treatment options and helps to ensure they understand and are comfortable with their treatments plans and expected outcomes.”

Nicole Carone, PA-C, is a nationally certified physician assistant specializing in the field of otolaryngology. She joined AltantiCare Physician Group in May 2016. Her areas of interest include the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and conditions that affect the ears (otology), including cerumen impaction, perforated ear drum evaluation, chronic eczematous otitis externa, otitis media, and otitis externa.

She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at Penn State University, University Park, and then earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Carone is certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
